It's a good game for sure, but it can get a little frustrating at times. Why cannot you simply select a car, and go for a drive in acarde mode? You have to buy cars.
I hope it isn't like that for the actual GT5, because on all previous GT games you could just go for a spin in a big selection of cars. I liked that.
During races, I don't like the penalties. I find them hugely frustrating which cannot be turned off. Plus, sometimes when other cars hit you, you get the penalty!

This is only a computer game after all, not real life.
The positives:
Graphics are stunning, Polyphony really did well their.

Game play is great, especially when your in a good car like the Ferrari F430. What a noise, and what fantastic handling. Balanced, nimble and precise. Quite twitchy on on the entry to corners, but I would expect that in a mid-engined car. Cars like the RX-8 and Evo bore me, too slow.
Nissan GT-R is pretty damn good, so is the Corvette ZO6 - very sideways!

BMW M3 is excellent, nice noise and a neat handler.
The AI is still isn't a match for other racing games, such as Froza and Toca - but it's much improved. Your rivals now make mistakes, and get quite aggressive sometimes.
Great game overall, but make those penalties optional and have a good selection of cars to play in acarde mode - seperate from the main career mode and it would be prety much ideal!
