Johnny Herbert and Alessandro Nannini have joined gp masters according to autosport this week.

I agree, touring cars would be better

Younger drivers, no offence to Hans Stuck but he's getting on a bit

Thats the International Formula Master series that will replace the F3000 Masters on the WTCC bill. Brand new chassis too.

Not sure if Mansell would want to race a tin top around Donington after last time :)

Read in Autosport last week that there was going to be no GP Masters race in the UK in 2007, but they were looking to get back to the UK for 2008, so the news that Donington Park may have got a round is a surprise to me, but it will good news if this is the case. Perhaps it will be better supported than the round at Silverstone last year.

There is a reason why things like this are not very well supported! No one really wants to pay good money to see 10 tired old tuggers mincing about in cars they cant really drive anymore!

And the whole thing is just a Nigel Mansell appreciation mission anyway, shockingly awful really, be better if they were in period cars, its cant be that hard can it!
