What the hell is going on in f1 at the moment? Spy scandals, customer chassis rows, court cases to decide championships and the man at the top admiting to be a bit of a fan of one team.
Call me old fashioned and sentimental but hows this for an idea: Stop the bullshit, arguing, and all the other crap and lets all just go bloody racing.

I would love this to happen, but I think in the near future F1 has no intention of listening to the fans.
I mean at least Bernie has a brain, he called a crisis meeting to discuss how F1 is going in the wrong direction. At least he can see what F1 will become if this political, spying crap continues. Unlike mad Max, who seems to be loving it.

:iagree:
But now its all kicked off let's have the arguments and punch ups out in the open now and consign them to the bin before the 2008 season starts.

This is awful for F1, the casual viewers will just turn off if this continues...

It will be great if all the nonsense is out the way by march, but i seriously doubt it.With the FIA inspecting cars and a new spy row every week i fear next season could be the most politically involved ever.
The biggest problem is that until Mad Max is replaced sod all is gonna change.

I'm sort of hoping that there will be one final massive punch up the result of which will be your wish coming true.

It would be great but once Max has gone who is there to replace him.I did hear some time ago that a certain Mr. J. Todt was being lined up as Max,s sucessor.

Damon Hill is a great idea, much better than Todt who many people(me included) think is far to close to one team ever to be seen as impartial.

I think Todt would become like Max, go completely mad in the end. Plus, he would just favour Ferrari, like Max does.

It's confusing where F1 will end up, yes we want F1 to be at the cutting ege of tech, but the main reason why all these spying scandals are happening is because the rules allow much aero development. This means that if a team sees a Ferrari with a new front wing, they are inclined to copy that, and also want to see the designs.
I think it's the rules are the problem, the free-design nature of F1 is a victim of it's own success.

Not if you look closely, for example the Ferrari looks different to the Mclaren.
