This weekend GP2 heads off to the historic Monza circuit.
This circuit usually sees superb racing. This year should be no different...
Eurosport are scheduled to show both races live...but don't be surprised if they don't.
Try and enjoy!

Hopefully Adam Carroll will be able to continue his good form this weekend, and I'm sure he is asking himself what might have been if he has done the whole of the season, as he surely would have been in with a shout of winning the title if he had done so. I'm sure the racing will be great again this weekend, with lots of incidents I'm sure.

I bet Nakajima will cause most of the incidents.
I agree though, I hope Adam Carroll can keep his good form this weekend. He's doing a super job, he's realy gelled with FMS. He never really gelled with Racing Engineering.
I reckon he would have won the title if he did the whole season, he's pace is superb.
Plus, he's an outstanding racer!

I'm sure he is going to be one of the hot properties for next season when it comes to a GP2 drive and I'm sure he will have the big teams after him soon. Who knows he could win GP2 next season and then F1 could beckon, what a turn around that would be!

Agreed Deano,
If he just keeps on what he's doing, he will get noticed by not only other GP2 teams, the F1 teams too.
He should go for the title with FMS next year, he looks very happy at the team.
However, it sounds likely that Carroll will do A1 GP this season. Good idea though, it's a great series.

Surely GP2 would be better to further his career, surely as I imagine the F1 bosses would be more interested in that compared to A1GP, which is a relatively new formula and I imagine it will take time for it to become a recognised training ground for future F1 drivers

Well exactly.
F1 teams are highly unlikely to look at A1 GP for young talent.
He should just try and blitz GP2 next year, hoping that a big F1 team wll sign him up...
A1 GP won't really enhance his career much, so on that front there isn't any point.

looking forward to this weekend's gp2.....and f1 and football, and rugby....!
i think this gp2 race is the hardest to call all season. pantano and filippi usually go very, very well at monza. carroll has also gone well here when not being hit from behind by rosberg or his wheel falling off after a pitstop....also glock and digrassi going for the title and zuber driving an isport car means in my opinion any one of these 6 drivers will win the race. which one i havent got a clue!!! i reckon maybe pantano!
ideal for me would be di grassi and glock to get no points from the whole weekend, and for carroll, pantano and nakajima to get loads of points and then the title race would be REALLY open!

Pantano went brilliantly last year, winning both races!
I don't like Di Grassi, he moans far too much.
I hope Glock has some luck this weekend, along with Conway!

It's a shame Clivio Piccione isn't here, he made the race last year. I expect a performance from Hirate this weekend as he as plenty of experience of Monza from the Italian Renault championship, I'm sure he'll be exciting

Giorgio Pantano has taken pole position for tomorrow's feature race.
He looks utterly dominant here, the Italian should take the win.
Senna and Conway were dire yet again, they really must start pulling up their socks.

True, there's likely to be first corner pile up.
Howerver, Mr Hirate simply hasn't got the pace to get solid points on a consistent basis.
