Hülkenberg won't need a single year of GP2 I'm sure of that. The same way that I'm also sure that he's going to win the F3 Euro title this year.
(Sutil went to F1 straight after winning the Japanese F3.)
With teammate James Jakes being his closest rival I think, but Hülkenberg might have an easy time the way Lewis did in 2005.
Then he outpaces Nakajima in testing throughout the year, and Kazuki will be shown the door after the last Grand Prix with Nico making his F1 debut in 2009. That's what my crystal ball says, we'll see how accurate it turns out to be.

It could well happen, however Euro F3 moves very quickly and it could be the case that Nico has a young rookies who can match him or beat him this year, therefore mount a serious championship challenge...

The problem is, is that Nakajima is only driving for Williams to keep Toyota happy, and Williams wants to continue there engine partnership. They would deny that but it's the sad truth.

So if Toyota still feel like that in 2009, and Rosberg staying. Leaving Hulkenberg without a Williams seat.

It could very well happen, by 2009 im not sure but soon for sure!
As Mc-fan said, he pretty much has it made for him to cruise F3 with Grosjean and Buemi out of the picture, this season really should be his and as me and Sav said before if he fails it could well be detremental!
As for the Toyota-powered Williams drive, I think Sav has hit the nail on this one, Toyota im sure will want Naka to be driving the car to obviously promote their brand but at the same time Frank will have little choice in the matter unless he proves hopless.
If Williams end their 3 year engine deal with Toyota by 2010, then Hulk could well be in the frame....but i feel Naka is the saftey pin as such (although if he fails a door will open for example look at Vettel!)

I think Nico can defintely win the championship, no doubt about that - he is clearly very capable. Winning the Euro F3 title is his only option for this year. And the potential affects could be detremental as Scuderia mentions.

But like I said he doesn't know many drivers could be challenging him...

I think Williams intend to extent the Toyota contract beyond 2010, as it doesn't just include engines, both teams also trade chassis and suspension secrets and ideas.

Nakijima is therefore quite safe, Vettel I think will go to BMW or Ferrari in the future...

Hulkenberg might go to Mclaren I think, if Hekki fails to impress.

Grosjean comfortably fastest, I think watching Grosjean fighting through the field from 8th in the sprint race when he wins the feature will be great. :8

I think so too, it will be a combination of his overtaking skills and sheer outright pace.

After these four tests I willing to bet anything that Grosjean will win this championship.

Good thing they're going to use totally new cars for the European championship otherwise it would be too boring with Grosjean dominating with the current car.

I predict that Senna will be on the front row with Grosjean for Friday's race, but Grosjean will only see the 2nd and 3rd placed drivers after the race on the podium.

By the way does anyone know the timetable for this weekend? Like if there's a practice session (not really a point to it after 4 testing days but still...) And qualifying?

I just found out, practice and qualifying are on the same day as the feature race on Friday.

Well, a lot is happening in one day! [eek]

It's because they don't do racing on a Sunday in Dubai. ;)

We all know what Eurosport is like, that why I'm not trusting them for the Daytona coverage this weekend! >:(
