This thread is to try and help whoever is developing the forum and to try and make it a better place for the community to post.
-----
This thread could also be used to keep the community informed. For this to happen everyone needs to keep strictly on subject.
-----
While I recognise that the forum is a lot better than the day it was changed, I also recognise that there is still a long way to go, here is my list of formatting issues that would be resolved in an ideal world.
-----
1. Avatars
-----
I feel it necessary to point out that the current avatar size limit of 85x85 pixels is pointless as you can see by looking at this thread. If I were to register an account under the name of "RidiculouslyLongNameUsedToProveAPoint" then it would compliantly muck up the formatting to a greater extent than usernames such as "Scuderia-Ferrari_Wileman" and "MarathonMan801" (no offence guy's, I needed examples) already do.
-----
I have a suggestion on how to resolve this, remove the advertising (since it is not relevant, my OS has no registry and I don't need a "date") and change the avatar size to a size that is of equal width to the longest username currently registered, then limit the username length to the same size. The result would make my eyes bleed less and resolve the signature formatting issue.
-----
2. Profile Links
-----
As for the remainder of the sections that would need to be moved.. the "Your Account" section could be moved to a link at the top of the page (possibly on a link bar) labeled..... er.... "Your Account" that would lead to a page where you could sort out everything account related as I know what my avatar looks like and my post count is on every post that I make.
The other links on the link bar could be "Log Out" that would lead back to the page you were at when you pressed it and not to the homepage and a link to a "Latest Videos" page.
-----
3. Page links
-----
The page link on each individual thread has moved from the top to the bottom of the page quite frequently. At the moment it is on bottom of the page only. I suggest putting it at both the bottom and the top.
A link to the page numbers next to the subject link, something like [1]..[5][6]..[10] in the bottom right hand corner of the cell should work well.
-----
4. Post Formatting
-----
As it stands at the moment anyone who wants to leave a blank line to make it easier for anyone else to read has to leave a line of dashes. This really needs to be fixed as it puts people off reading the whole post.
-----
Although I have no control over it I would like, again, to ask everyone to adhere to the subject as closely as possible.
-----
This is all I can do to try and help, I hope it does.

5. Prevent text bleeding into right hand column
.
6. Restore "View posts since last visit" functionality - it's essential if you visit often to keep abreast of what's happening
.
Cadpig's post above goes halfway into the "Your Account", "Forum Stats" etc. on Windows Firefox...  dunno about other browsers.

My suggestion, use phpp software and tweak it to your preference.
