Sorry I'm reacting so late, had quite a busy last few weeks.
Obviously the one spinning in the last picture is not Rubens, but his fellow Honda racer Klien.

What do you think of the new chicane area?
I think it will provide plenty of passing but it looks absolutely rubbish. It's all grey with only a couple of lines telling you if you're on the circuit or off. Also expect to see the cars run wide exiting the chicane, leading onto the S/F straight. At most of the races that I've seen so far, they all run very wide exiting. Tight lines were very rare.
I'm pretty angry about the cutting on these new style circuits (read Bernie's tarmac parkings of hell). Okay, when running out of a corner you won't gain that much time, although you will have a faster speed when you arrive at the next corner. But when you cut a turn on the inside it will clearly give you a time advantage.
At the top of Radillion it has become the norm to just go straight. Last year there were already several series/drivers that did it. Notable a Red Bull driver (I think Aleshin) during the World Series round, who just cut it every lap. During this years 24 Hours weekend everybody did it. Apart from the boys of the British F3, who I think were told in briefing to stay within the lines. But in the Modena races you almost didn't notice Eau Rouge was a turn, plus there were several competitors in the 24 hours who did it. The winning Corvette even had to talk to the race director at one point during the race because they cut too much.
There was also a dangerous situation when a car spun/crashed during the Modena race. It ended up on top of Radillion and while the car was being pushed away most of the drivers were still cutting that part. I do have a picture of that.
This week the World Series visit Spa, I do hope they will stay within the boundaries.
