It has come ever increasingly clear from the bizarre and outrageous decisions made by the stewards from Zimbabwe or Outer Mongolia, that F1 needs some thoroughly professional and knowledgable stewards appointed for the whole season. Therefore your nominations please. I will begin by offering the following;

Mario Andretti

Nigel Mansell

David Coulthard.

I agree, after the last race something needs to be done drastically the penalties for Hamilton, Massa and Bourdais were ridiculous. Perhaps a group of partially sighted circus clowns could be brought in to improve the standard.

To add to your list, I would like to include, Jean Alesi, Damon Hill,Jos vastrappen and many other Ex Formula 1 drivers who could do an excellent job.

i disagree. have a set number of stewards at every race metting yes for sure.. but do they have to be f1 drivers? no i dont think so, someone with a vast knowledge of the sport and a neutral standpoint would be better at officiating than a driver.. i mean footballers make real bad referees!

i do say we do need some input from the drivers and the above id agree with except mario, i mean no, great as he is, thats unrealistic..i sugest
damon, coulthard, rubens when he finishes, herbert and villenuve.

something needs to be done tho, its ruining the casual viewers joy of the sport and they are much more plentiful in numbers than us die hard sad anoraky f1 fans!
