DTM LIVE FROM HOCKENHEIM
It's been a long wait, but it's been worth it - the 2008 DTM goes down to the wire at Hockenheim on Sunday with German Timo Scheider for Audi and Scotsman Paul di Resta for Mercedes going head-to-head for the title, separated by just two points.
If Timo wins he's champion; if Paul wins, he will be Britain's second-only DTM champion after Gary Paffett in 2005 - it's that simple and it's that close. And it will all be live on Motors TV, starting at 12.45h UK, presented by Carlton Kirby and Mark Cole.
Audi's Mattias Ekstrom has annexed pole, leaving the two title contenders to start 2nd and 3rd, Paul the one on the front row. How far will Ekki go to help his German teammate? That question will add spice to what promises to be a spectacular finale to the season, in front of an expected 150,000 crowd over the weekend.

please let them race like beasts today, if there is contact and someone gets a penatly then it becomes like F1 where no one has the balls to dive bomb somone..

Maybe there is a dark horse waiting in the wings. How is Maro Engel doing by the way, havent heard much of him since he left UK F3.
Time to walk the dogs and partake of a proper breakfast (fry up) before the DTM.
