Perfect result today would be di Resta, Green, Schneider...even though I'm a big fan of Audi I'd prefer the Brits to do well...& Bernd on the podium on his last ever DTM race would be very (Christian) apt  lol

Afternoon folks,
I've been following the chapionship all year but never bothered to join in with the forum chatter - so here I am.
Looking forward ti the fight with Paul - fingers crossed he wins it and then gets a shot a F1 - even if it is at the back of the grid.

If it was di Resta 2nd & Scheider 3rd would that be enough for Paul?

It depends on who has won the msot races, or got the most 2nds or whatever, but if it finished like that they would be one the same points.

According to Autosport, next year's Audi teams will be running the R8 in the DTM.
Surely there would be an advantage in running a mid-engine car up against a front-engined merc, so will we be seeing a mid-engine CLK running next year aswell?
note: the R8 ROAD version not the R8 LMP1

I know...that's why I asked...I know if paul wins he wins on victories, but if it goes to 2nd places, will it be enough for him?

i thought touring car rules say cars must be front engined, sureley that can't be right

I think you've misread it ADx. What it says is that Audi's DTM teams will be running the R8 in the FIA GT Championship.
