Yep it wouldn't surprise me if the 05 cars are used by the teams throughout the season to evaluate potential new drivers for the series next year by giving each driver 2 or 3 races to impress.

After looking at the squad, it is great news to see that Di Resta has got a seat for 2007 and if Adam Carroll gets the final seat at Audi, it will mean that a quarter of the grid for 2007 will be made up of Brits which has to be great news for the series in the UK and is surely an indication that the series realises that there is great potential for the growth of the series in the UK and who knows perhaps we will see two rounds here soon.

It looks like Susie will be running the same colour scheme that Stefan Mucke ran last year which will hopefully mean that her car will be easy to spot, but hopefully she will be nearer the front this year!

thats a very interesting line up. lets hope they match the past years cars up a little more evenly and then there will be lots of good racing.

Indeed it's an interesting and competitive line-up, and it contradicts what we said in the other thread about Paffett getting Alesi's old livery. Margaritis will be running with the stern livery.

I'm looking forward to seeing the TV Spielfilm car with pink mirrors.
But the list below raises a question for me: will di Resta's and Paffett's cars look exactly the same? Because we saw that Hakkinen's AMG Mercedes is black instead of silver, plus it's easy to tell the new and the old C Class apart.

It's also intresting that Paffet runs as driver for HWA. I think Mercedes don't want to see Paffet in a customerteam. So Persson Motorsport has only 2 cars this year.

That's OK.
I was the same way too a few days ago (and I wasn't tired at all ops: ).
I knew there can't be a number 13, but I couldn't figure out which other number was missing.

I can understand why they don't have a number 13 but why not a number 20? Does the number have some unknown meaning in Germany which means no-one wants to use it?

The 20 hasn't a special meaning in germany, i think it will be used for the 2. TME driver, so now there isn't the number.
