Good afternoon race fans - Carlton and I are ready and waiting for Round 6 of the DTM live from the Nurburgring, where we have good weather and a big crowd already for the weekend which starts the second half of the 2006 season.

There may be only two manufacturers in contention this year, but we've had four different winners, the latest Canadian Bruno Spengler who pulled off a spectacular coup for Mercedes at the Norisring last month.

Mercedes and Audi have shared three wins apiece here since 2001, last year's victor Mathias Ekstrom for Audi, so it's wide open in the Eifel. We love DTM - you love DTM. So tell us what you think of Motors TV's coverage. Drop us a line and we'll do our best to give you a mention!

Good to see the DTM back after its month long break. As for qualifying today, i reckon either Tom Kristensen or Mika Hakkinen will be on pole as they have both been on the pace this weekend. As for an outsider for pole, what about Alexandros Margaritis who has been quick all weekend in his 2005 spec car.
Best of luck to the Brits as well, hopefully Jamie will qualify off the front row as then he might be able to win the race from there!
Hope to see Susie back to her best after her bad accident at the Norisring and hopefully she will able to exact revenge on La Rosa on the racetrack this weekend.
Will try and watch both the qualifying and the race live but if not i will definitely watch the re-runs in the evening.

Deano

afternoon carlton and mark

whats the rule in relation to cars staying within the confines of the race track?

people seem to have all wheels outside the white line round the final corner on some laps

hi folks, good to see DTM is on again.

about Bleekenmolen and his sponsor,

they made some agreements with Mr Kolles but Mr Kolles failed to make the agreements stick so Jeroen's sponsor made his point by not paying the requested money before Mr Kolles came up to his part of the deal.

thats why Kiesa is in the car now.
