Alesi? bah - seems like he can't be bothered.
He didn't turn up for the open press conference at Brands saturday afternoon, yet all the other drivers were there. Some excuse was made, but it seems to us he's just sulking and not playing the team game.
Eventually on Sunday the team dragged him out for a few signatures, but from the fan side it was a pretty poor showing.
Talk about a family atmosphere though !
Mika and Erja brought along young Hugo, and I spotted Hugo and Erja on the Audi hospitality playing bar football.
Would that happen in Formula 1 ?
For a start - would the fans ever get into the paddock ?
No way !
Even at GP Masters the paddock was closed to fans on race day, only open for VIPs.
DTM is really great for the fans, we'll be there at Hockenheim for the season finale.

Hi together,
I am just coming back from the Qualifying from " The Ring "
The DTM use the sort circle because the want that the fans see the cars
as much as possible.
Frentzen was the fastest on Friday but I don ´t now why.
Mercedes took Susi to the Mercedes Stage. Now I am a Susie fan either.
I think it was her fist interview in German on the stage ( A part of it) This was really sweet.
Unfortunately she miss the second round of the Qualifying . Important for her is that she is faster than Mathias Lauda. And Mathias is much better as I expected. In the GP2 last year he was really bad.
Join the race tomorrow.

Good to see that Spengler got pole, he has really come on the last couple of races. Glad to see that Jamie has avoid the front row this time around, hopefully his first win will follow. As for me saying Margaritis could be an outsider for pole, what was i thinking? He didn't even make the final session and according to the DTM website he is starting 20th with no time recorded. What happened there? Looks to be set up for a great race tomorrow!

Hello Mark and Carlton. Good to hear you again, sorry i didn't get to meet you at Brands or Le Mans, maybe next time. Great to see Bruno up there again, I hope he does well tomorrow. Good to see Stefan Mucke too, what d'you reckon his chances are of getting a podium pos. sometime?
I'd like to contribute to the online chat during the race but my pc is upstairs and the tv is downstairs.....
Keep up the good work, Motors is THE BEST. Cheers for now,

Margaritis has been given a penalty disallowing all his times for swerving across in front of Ekstrom when it looked like he was coming into the pits, then changed his mind and decided to stay out http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/53920
I have the same problem regarding posting during the live quali/race, tv downstairs, pc upstairs...ah well.

Anyone know what the weather is doing at the ring??
If the UK is anything to go by we should be in for some rain.
So, with luck we could get the same excitement as at F1 Hungary
