Hi, whilst welcoming your coverage of European Drag Racing, the commentator who also fronts the DVDs of European drag racing, Darryl, is useless,. If you've ever seen  (I'm sure you have) the American TV coverage of their drag racing on EPSN the commentators add excitement into the racing. Darryl would be better commentating on a chess match, he exhibits little knowledge of the subject and he is sooooo dreary, even the pretty girl assistant is just that. Also the camera work on the European stuff is very poor compared to the American's coverage, the American have slow motion replays of the starts, overhead footage of the burn outs and starts also shots of the finish line to show the winners, helmet cameras etc etc. Drag racing is the fastest motorsport on earth, the commentating team make it seem boring.

I don't suppose you are responsible for the quality of the coverage but it's doing the sport no favours, use your influence get it improved. I've been going to Santa Pod since 1971 and was fortunate enough to go to Pomona, Los Angeles in 2007 for the NHRA finals, our top fuel racers are competitive with the Americans but our TV coverage is in a different league - the conference.

Further to my post earlier, this week you transmitted the coverage from Finland, no sound of the cars, no coverage of the burnouts, the same wooden commentary.

You should look at this

www.nhra.com/multimedia.seeittobelieveit.aspx

this is how to get some excitement, notice the coverage of the race, panning from the start to the finish

come on get it sorted
