With qualifying coming up later this evening I was wondering if Radio Le Mans would be covering it?

If not do you know where else would be? :D :D

Hindy should be around, he said he was flying over yesterday morning.

There is a video stream on the www.indycar.com site which they might keep going when the Indycars aren't on track (it's on at the moment!)

Let's hope that the next sessions are less hectic than the one earlier, according to someone who has trawled through the reports they've had:-

-Viper backs into the wall.

-Intersport Creation backs into the wall

-Lowe's Lola and #4 Vette make contact

-Tafel Porsche hits the back of the TranSport Porsche on pitlane.

-Mazda loses it's rear diffuser on course

-Tafel Porsche and 45 FLM make contact

-#7 Penske Porsche runs into the back of the Intersport Creation

-#44 FLM Porsche taps the wall and pulls off course

-#3 Vette runs into the back of the Intersport Creation

-#71 Tafel Porsche hits an access ramp left on the circuit by marshals used to get drivers over the wall and the tire that was lost hits three cars.

:S

And now the webcam is making me feel sea sick with all the zooming in and out! [lol]

Bloody hell! [eek]

It is a difficult circuit though, the IRL should be good.

It's a good idea to keep an eye on the Pit Notes section of the IMSA website, that's how you find out what has really gone on in a session.

This is fantastic.

I've got two windows open on the Indy practice and on one I have live in car/track cameras, in the other window I have the computer graphic map of the track showing me where each car is.
Amazing. Why can't F1 provide me this?

Agreed, F1 really does need to catch up.

Indy Car and even DTM are now showing live streaming online, F1 should too. If it's to keep it's title as the: "pinnacle of mototsport".

Was certainly entertaining, apart from the two minutes at the end when Hindy went to be replaced by people talking about horse eventing! [lol]

The first lap tomorrow is going to be one where you hold your breath!

This circuit is very, very challenging.

We will see many incidents, for sure...

Oh I'll be right infront of the tv with the laptop on! :)

I think the track is getting to the minds of some drivers - a quote from Stefan Johansson via thepaddock.net:-

"It's different to Houston but similar in a way. All street circuits have a different character. It's bumpy and [has] different surfaces with [hardly] no run-off areas."
