Was only able to watch odd bits, Eurosport 2's ads were really annoying, having already had them inflicted in the GP2.
Was well pleased as a Mazda owner that the RX8 won the GT class. Mazda's recent racing history has been pretty non existant, certainly from those of us based in Europe.

The Eurosport ad's during the race were the worst I've ever come across. Loud, irrating and brash, also the adverts were only ever advertising Eurosport's own sports which they broadcast - nothing from actual companies. The number they showed was unnecessary. ::)

I'm so glad TVU exists. [eek]

You're right in that they are always adverts for the channel itself. I wouldn't mind if it was for a product but it gets boring very quickly when it's just for how wonderful their channel is. ::)

Yup, Eurosport advertising what they are going to show in Febuary does get tedious, same thing every ad break! [eek]

I also found that Speed actually showed ads less frequently, and I thought American TV was suppose to be bad.

I nearly fell into the trap of buying those wonder cloths the bloke on Speed was advertising, I'd end up spilling things just so I could soak them up! [lol]

Yeah it looked brilliant on the TV, I'm not sure how it would fare in reality though.

The man sounded convincing.

And you got a free duster!
And you could get replacement ones for life by just paying the admin fee!
Bargain! [lol]

It was that or learn a new language using the Rosetta Stone... ::)

Oh right in that case I want one, or shall I say two - including the free duster! [lol]

The language CD that man was trying to sell sounded great, I need to find some lanuages I want to learn before buying though - that could be useful.

Eurosport has too much on there plate. They try to show too many things.

I remember the when showed the FIA GT series in 2005, they were 15 minutes late and race had already started becasue of an other program they were showing

Very good point MotorracingP, I think Eurosport do try and show too much sport.

They often have about 15 mins for say the Tennis, not exactly extensive, but they are trying to cram in many other sports too! Then some sports over run with each other, its a total mess actually - the whole channel.

Sky Sport is how it should be in terms of organsation, nearly all of their sports run to time. I mean Live A1GP for example has never been late, always perfect timing - no irrating, brash ad breaks either!
