This Saturday motorsport roars back into life, in form of the Lisboa Dakar 2008.

From 5th - 20th competitors will go through the some of the most toughest terrains in the world.

The list of competitors: http://www.dakar.com/2008/DAK/RIDERS/us ... gages.html

272 bikes, 513 cars and 701 trucks.

The route, rules downloads etc can all be found on the link above.

As usual with the Dakar, there have been terriost threats. However the rally is going ahead just as planned: http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/64486

Eurosport will be broadcasting highlights from each day of the rally. Also, there will be live updates too. On Tuesday and Wednesday evening live updates will be shown, and other live updates are also planned during the course of the rally.

Enjoy! :D
