Couldn't agree more about Stock Car racing, it would be great on TV if only it was given the right sort of coverage like Sky has given towards the speedway.
A sport which I'm really passionate about and would be great back on TV is Rallycross. There are lots of short races which would keep the public entertained and as the sport was initially invented for TV, it is a surprise that no-one will take a punt and show some of the sport live.

personally I think sky sports way of coverage is terrible, watching there sky sports experts during IRL races is one of the most painful things you can watch in motorsport.

2nd only to the irl itsself.

i like sky sports coverage, ok their pundits arn't always the best but the coverage is usually pretty good. except john watson, someone please kidnap john watson or something so he dosen't commentate anymore.

i've just been watching some of the old btcc races that motors tv ave had ova the past years on on all of them it says ITV sport when the grid possitions show up and also when i went 2 oulton park for the practice sessions only 2 ITV trucks showed up so im wondering if motors tv is part of itv sports

the coverage is not there coverage though, sky sports only rebroadcastt he american footage, same with motorstv and its nascar coverage, and nasn with its own coverage of nascar.

i just find the way sky interupt the american coverage for there own experts annoying as hell, 1 they are boring 2 they are not really experts 3 they miss the on track action because of it.

Agree with most of the comments, Sky does really lack coverage of any decent motorsport and the coverage that it does have is really quite poor, especially on the IRL races and the speedway is an exception to this. You would think that with all the money Sky gets it would be able to get a decent series or two and some people who know what there on about as well.

Well i'm surprised we've not had an official word from Motors themselves....usually Frederic chucks us a few lines even to just confirm what has already been posted.

Thanks to Hindy for his posting, I have to say that I always enjoy hearing his thoughts both as a racing fan, and as someone within the sport.

I'm just curious what Motors are going to fill BTCC Sundays with. Surely there are only so many times that Steam Train Classics or 3D Motors can be repeated.....(Not that I dont appreciate programs such as that!).

After putting Motors onto NTL and increasing the viewing base, to not show the premier series in Britain, does seem a strange decision, and one that i'm sure someone from Motors HQ can explain.
