Anyone else from here going? IIRC Matt865 said he was. Hope we get a good days racing, and i saw a forecast for the weekend saying rain, but its early days yet, could all have changed by the weekend.

I'll be going
Should be great if it's anything like last year - a clio nearly hit a portaloo
Hope the weather isn't going to be wet like donnington last year The racing was delayed at random times for ages - It started with the Seat cupras going to the grid, then only half of them came back round, and even during the first BTCC race we kept seeing crumpled leons being carried on flatbeds to the pits!

It's gonna take about 3 to 4 hours to get just to the travelodge from where I live in the North East
Nice to see David Leslie and Richard Lloyd remembered in a better way than those stupid minute silences (which always start just as someone chokes on their drink when they've got a cold )
David Leslie's probably better than most of the drivers out there now - look how quick he was on occasions in that Proton in 2002

I have just got tickets for croft. I revolve my BTCC races each year, last year was Oulton, then before that it was Donny, before that it was Brands.
Next year will be rockingham methinks.
Or I could go to two of them.

It was a fantastic race 3, Turkington did a great job to keep the tricky looking RWD BMW on the road. Neal was indeed fantastic.
Yep a nasty smash in the Cilo Cup, glad to see the drivers were fine.
I would go to Donington, but I'm attending the A1GP finale on that day at Brands.

Had a great day yesterday, even if i did get a soaking for race 3, some good racing going on, especially in race 3, guess no one told Turkington and Jackson they're supposed to be at a disadvantage in the wet!! Great driving by Matt Neal after the safety car came in, certainly made up for his mishaps in race 2 Roll on Donington, going to both days for that one, would liked to have done A1GP but like Scuderia says it's a bit of a trek. Will post some pix when i get some time, have to go to work now

I was in the grandstand with the massive metal roof over it, so not only were we dry, but it made the last race seem like a film!!
Damn piglets for marshalls though - they evacuated our grandstand cause of a false alarm, then when we got to the bottom we were told it was alright to go back, only to be told to go back down again, then told everyone it was alright to go back up again

Had a great day yesterday. left just as the clio's got away for race 2 so i avoided the weather as i had to get home to see lee evans, any fans on here? his new stuff is classic spent the afternoon hunting down drivers, got autographs from jelly, turks, toc and matt neal. tried plato to get him to sign my seat jacket but he was busy (moaning at others that the pit walk about is the time to get autographs)
