BSB wont return to Rockingham after what happened the two years that they went there when there were massive accidents and Hislop broke his collarbone in a crash which handed the title to John Reynolds. The riders didn't like the circuit and that is why they haven't been back since.

Yeh, its true, its not a bike circuit. Not flowing enough really. However, that was using the old bike link up at the top, using turn 4 and then banzaiing it through the chicane (bad). With the new chicane at turn 4, it'd be a much nicer track for them now!

A few of riders who were riding back then are still riding now and they would be dead against any move to go back to Rockingham. Most of the crew chiefs back then said that the facilities were the best in the country but they didn't want their top name riders injuring themselves and ending a possible championship run.
Bikes can work on parts of ovals, just look at the Daytona 200, but I think it is just something that the sport in this country has against the idea after the initial experience.

Sounds good to me as well. Would give the BSB boys a bit of a test as well.
