The technology is there to be used, so I guess you are also thinking more long term on how to best utilize it. On Rally Sweden we have seen tests on live streaming from the car.

Usage of the internet combined with TV is perfect.

What advice can we give Motors TV, and also North One Sport on how to meet the future ?

Not sure who the commentator is or works for but that would be top of list to change.

Not a very good start, room for improvement:

Get a commentator who knows the sport!

In-car camera position should show the road ahead AND the steering wheel, less back of seats!

Much more camera shots from outside the cars, also from helicopters!

The commentator should at least TRY to pronounce the names correct!

More speed/gear/revs data.

My dear Sergei.

Super TV coverage????

Are you joking?

Most of the coverage was made with on-boards (minutes and minutes of on-board - it's almost boring), there's almost no images from other cars than the top 5/6.

I think that this coverage was a coverage made to have the less cost possible - almost without camera shots from outside the cars and from helicopters!

Motors TV please look to the coverage made by EuroSport in the last seasons... and use them as guide.

WRC is the only reason for me to subscribe Motors TV... and with this type of coverage... I will leave my subscription.

Hopping for fast improvements...

But this thread was I think was made to try to come up with our requirements longer term, lets say 2011-2012.

Lets face it: Things Take Time (TTT), but it is important for us as patrolheads to try to specify what we would like to see and hear, and on what type of media we would like to access the info from in the furture ! TV, internet, mobile phone and so on.

For example did we see a experiment using live stream from Ramona Karlssons car during the rally in sweden. Maybe technologies like this in combination with TV would be ideal - or maybe not. But it important to once and awhile to try to state what we as users of their service would like to have !

Just watched the rally Jordan coverage. I thought it was much better and I for one really enjoyed the Jarri-Matti on board stage as the scenery was breathtaking at speed. It would be useful if it series-linked on Sky so that the next rally/episode isn't missed. The commentation needs work, though it is getting there and more out of car shots would be good. The in car driver facing shots rarely add much - usually only when the driver has a moment - like Petter!

Firstly, really glad that motors broadcast WRC at a sociable time of the day unlike previous years. However, i do not need to further highlight what isn't great about the programme. This year the WRC was re shaped into what should have been a more exciting and attractive spectacle, although, i along with many other fans was left hugely deflated and disappointed. The list below is what i would like to see motors attempt to achieve in the long term (for the start of next year!)

find paul king!! the guy isn't with dave now and he would be perfect.

- severely limit the use of onboard cameras. i understand that at remote countries where there are long distances between stages and the climate is harsh that on stage cameras are not too practical. however i, as i'm sure many others would agree, that it would be better to see outside footage of the top 10 over a few good spectator points rather than an onboard of the top boys (loeb, hirvonen, ogier, latvala).

completely get rid of the mug shot video. (the horrendous video pointing at the drivers face)

by taking onboard these pointers the programme would again be hugely exciting and with a spectacle such as the WRC it can only grow in popularity.
