So are we going to get to see the lead up to the race on MotorsTV? I ask this because, as has been mentioned in another topic on this forum, there are going to be tributes to Peter Brock in the hour leading up to the race.

If MotorsTV is to show the race and the lead up live it will need to start the coverage at midnight (British summer time) which is 9am Bathurst time.

I hope so, but I doubt it

Motors TV absolutely are showing all the build up this year as last. Coverage starts at 10pm and finishes at 7.30. So thats plenty of build up. Last year we got loads of build up, V8 Supercar warm up and a live Porsche GT3 race plus loads more build up plus the race. Looking at the length of the program we are in for more of the same.

For those with a shortage of stamina there will be a replay at 1400 to 2030 on Sunday.

Hey, I'm new to the UK, and desperatley need somewhere to watch Bathurst next week but we don't have sky at home, does anyone know of somewhere in the London area that will be playing it live that I can go and watch it??

I wouldn't of thought that there would be anywhere that will show it at all. You could try some of the sports bars, but I would think they would show the football.

There wont be much football on at that time?

I guess if enough people ask one specific bar, they may decide to do something, but there would be very little point at most places as they may only get 2 or 3 people!

Heres an idea though, try asking at Walkabouts, maybe the birmingham one, as its in the centre of the country, and see what they can do!

OOps, ive overlooked something!

Saturday night = party night, so Walkabouts, and for that matter pretty mcuh every bar in city centres is going to be packed, at least til around 3AM. By that time, the race will be half over.
