I think the race starts at 12 but try to watch all the build up. It was really good last year.

I certainly hope so. According to the last schedule I read, the tribute to the Legend is in the half hour before the pitlane opens for the V8's. So, as Motors' coverage starts at 10pm (7am Local) we should get all the build up and, hopefully, all the tribute (Subtle hint to Motors).

I'll be watching the race live, and on voice chat with my Aussie fiance in Brisbane, filling in the blanks when Ten go to commercials and we stay with the coverage (she hates the number of breaks, but thinks that when Seven take over next season, there'll be less of them).

10 hours of coverage on Saturday and the race normally lasts about 6 and a half ish (off the top of my head) So we should be getting the whole deal, same as last year. Nice one Motors!

I'm gonna be online on my PS2 chatting live with 7 other members of an online racing clan called BFG www.bfgracing.com who primarily race on ToCA Race Driver 3 / V8's 3 using the full V8's championship as close to reality as possible, We did a Bathurst 1000 online race of our own last week (80 laps one night 81 the next) and my poor old thumb is still recovering LOL

I aint too bothered really, I'll watch til I fall asleep because there's a 7 hr replay from 2-9pm the same day anyway.
