I was quite surprised to hear this. This is good for us, because it means we won't have to wake up at 3 am for the season opener.

The Australian GP is now the second race of the season. It will start at 3:30 pm local time (5.30 am GMT), to cater for the european audiences: http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/61095

That would be a lot then Sav [lol]

Ron Walker wouldn't be best pleased about that really.. :'(

Personally i don't know what all the fuss is about having to get up at 3 in the morning to watch a race.. It's all part of the arm chair fan. [lol]

A European night race would be good. However, an Asian night race holds most benefit to us - SLEEP! [lol]

True I suppose. I personally don't find it a major problem, although more sleep is always a good thing. ;) [lol]
