Glad I watched it. But oh dear. the commentary was a bit painful at times.

And through no fault of the man at the mic. Was it Mark Cole?

New series. No real chance of getting familiar with the cars and drivers but it may have helped if MotorsTV had someone at the actual track. I felt sorry for him.

There was a time delay and I could not believe he missed Tambay going missing two laps from the end of the sprint race. Not as bad as not having the information on Fillipi leading race one at the end.

But on the whole I had the impression of a man with nothing to work with. Hopefully the series organisers improve the information going to our man in the booth or maybe he needs another set of eyes to help out.

Brno is not the easiest track to pass on in big powerful cars so hopefully we get better races in future. I think Mark may have had a few things to say about not having to work with one hand tied behind his back again....

i disagree Quatrozero

How hard is it to sit there and just watch the screen and call what you see. Mark does seem to struggle abit with anything other than LMS and DTM. Granted he had no live timing and there wasnt many graphics on screen. How many variations of Arabadzhiev are there? Long gaps beetween sentances, many mis-calls of drivers, didn't realise there was pitstops in race 1, thought that Piscopo was a backmarker when Onidi stopped

I was excited when the series was ging to be on the channel but if the coverage is the same for Imola next time then i wont bother.

The quicker motorstv give me a commentary job the better for everyone it will be.
