Couldn't agree more. Thought Yoong was quality and finally showing the form that earned him a F1 drive those years ago.
Germany have certainly looked good this season and will definitely have a say in the outcome of the title.
Couldn't we have found some better drivers rather than Kerr and Manning as they have been poor so far. What about Paul Da Resta for example?

Think Oli would do well, look at all the other youngsters up the sharp end.

The British A1GP team do this... look at last season where we had two drivers announced at the start of the season and Robbie Kerr drove every race, with the exception of the last where they shipped in Darren Manning... poor old Alex Lloyd didn't get a look in all season.

The French, meanwhile, fully utilised their driver team and, ultimately, won the Championship.

Why do we act like this? What's the point of announcing July 2005 that Alex Lloyd and Robbie Kerr are the drivers if you're never going to use Alex?!?

[quote]Alex Lloyd, a winner of the prestigious McLaren Autosport BRDC Young Driver of the Year award, at the age of 20 has already tested a Formula One car and raced in the European Formula 3000 and Formula Renault Championships. His comment was: "I've been on tenterhooks for the past month, so it was a fantastic feeling to get the call from John confirming that I have been chosen to be one of the two British drivers in the A1 GP series. I look forward to flying the flag for Great Britain in all four corners of the world, and I feel very privileged to be a part of this team. With all the elements now in place, we should be a formidable force in the Series and what better way to start off the than with the first event at Brands Hatch, one of the greatest venues in motorsport."
