Hardly a surprise is it, and I'm glad it's finally done so that some of the speculation can stop now and we can start getting on with the serious business of looking forward to 2008.

Yeah me too, and Susie getting a 2007 car - as Merc probably won't run any 06 cars.
(I'm gonna change the title of this thread)

Esktrom will be strong too, I hope TK can be quick too after his frustrating season last year.

Ralf to do significantly better than any of you are predicting... Susie to win a race...

I agree with the whole thing Sean!
If Norbert says Ralf is good then he's probably good.
And Susie winning a race would be awesome, I'm sure she's capable of it, but luck hardly ever seems to be on her side. That would surely earn her a McLaren test drive (and then a test seat after de la Rosa goes after his baby Alonso, but that's just slightly off topic ![LOL [lol]](http://www.motorstv.com/en/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif) )
Anyway... I expect Green to do much better this year, and Schneider might have a tough time with Spengler, Green and di Resta as his teammates, unless he's back to his old self. Remember he wasn't anything special in 2005, but won the title in '06.
The guy who won Brands Hatch will win the season opener (look at Eki's example) so that's Bernd!
But I'm backing di Resta for the title. Show no mercy

Traditionally, whenever Bernd wins the season opener he wins the title, I don't think it's just a coincident, when he wins the first race he has the momentum that drives him towards a title. I think the 5 time DTM Champion can bounce back quite easily, he has iffy years and brilliant years.
Yes Susie's luck ain't been great, but Susie will most probably be upgraded to a year old car, that will motivate her and give her more confidence to do well.
If Di Resta can drive like he did in 07, he will win the title - only this time he will be equipped with a brand new car as oppose to a two year old car.

Yep I'm sure 08 is going to be a cracker, and I'm sure the title race will go right to the wire. Personally I think this might finally be the year that Jamie cracks it and wins the title. He finally got the monkey off his back last season and if he can carry that form forward to 2008 then he will be a major force I feel. I think it may be a season too early for Di Resta as although there is no denying his talent, the pressure on him will have increased now he is in a 08 car, and this may get to him this season, but I'm sure he will win the title in the future.
I'm sure Bernd will be there or abouts and Bruno will probably win a race or two but I reckon Ekstrom will be the biggest challenger to Green, as Audi will probably put all their resources behind him if he gets a decent start.
I'm sure Oli will improve over the season, and he will challenging for points towards the end of the season. At last it appears that Susie will have a car which can compete towards the front of the field and I will be happy if she scores some points this season, although a podium will be even better.
And as for Ralf, well we'll just have to wait and see....
