As its getting to the end of the season, and with the announcement that the final weekend will be live, i was wondering if we will have the same coverage next year on motors??
This could have been announced before, but will this fantastic championship be shown on motors next year?

Good question Sisko, really enjoyed the V8's this year (like every year), so seeing delayed/live coverage would be awesome.

Aussie V8s and Motors make history!
V8 Supercars and Motors TV have made history with a three year extension that will lead them to a tenth year of partnership.
Motors TV has secured the television rights agreement until 2010, making V8 Supercars their longest serving client ahead of categories such as the Le Mans Series, German DTM , American Le Mans Series and Champ Car World Series.
"It's the longest Series we have broadcast and one that we are very proud of," said Motors TV Head of Programming and Acquisitions Frederic Viger.
"There is a lot to love about V8 Supercars. First of all they are very exotic and are extremely high profile with a mix of technology and raw energy.
"But most importantly it is really, really good racing the best we have seen on Motors TV. It is very exciting, close finishing and ultimately the Championship almost always comes down to the final round."
The three-year extension ensures V8 Supercars continues to be broadcast live for premium events in 36 countries including France, the United Kingdom, Germany and Holland. The broadcast takes in 15 million homes and is translated in five different languages.
Motors TV from next year will expand their coverage to include more of qualifying at selected rounds and more live feeds. This year the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 has been played in full on a short-delayed basis, while the Desert 400 in Bahraïn and the upcoming Dunlop Grand Final at Phillip Island are broadcast live into Europe.
V8 Supercars Australia Chairman Tony Cochrane was ecstatic with the deal with continues the strong association with Motors TV.
"We are very proud of our international television audience and Motors TV is an integral part of it within the European market," Mr Cochrane said.
"This helps maintain our international television footprint of some 850 million homes around the world that broadcast our sport live, as live or on close delay depending on the country concerned."
I say hell yeah! It was Motors who introduced me to this series in 01 and after a couple of years it has become one of my fav series so I'm really looking forward to more live coverage. Great deal Motors!

Great news about the V8's in 2008, just goes to show that Frederic pulls out all the stops when he needs to. 10 years on Motors is some achievement imo. Here to another 10 years

Wonder if the Utes are included in the coverage?
