Jake Rosenzweig will stay with Carlin in 2010 as he makes the switch to the Formula Renault 3.5 Series.
The American driver raced for the British team in the F3 Euro Series last season, finishing 18th in the final standings with a single podium finish at Zandvoort. He has also raced in Formula Renault 2.0 WEC, the Porsche Carrera Cup GB and, most recently, in the GP2 Asia Series races in Bahrain.
"I'm looking forward to working with Carlin again for a second season," said Rosenzweig. "There will be some faces I know on the World Series team and some new people as well. I am hoping to learn a lot and develop quickly so we can challenge for some good results. It will be good to have an experienced team-mate to learn from."
Rosenzweig completes Carlin’s World Series by Renault line-up after the team also confirmed last week that Russian Mikhail Aleshin will return to the squad this year after a season racing in F2.
"I'm delighted that Jake is staying with us for another season," Carlin said. "He's developed a lot as a driver over the last 12 months and is getting better and better.
"He equalled his more experienced team-mate last year in F3 Euro Series, so I'm expecting to see some good things from him this season. We've got a great team this year in Jake and Mikhail, it's going to be a pleasure to have them both in the team."
