CARSINGLE-SEATERINTERSTEPS CHAMPIONSHIP

InterSteps Championship

Launched in 2011 and organised by the prestigious British Automobile Racing Club, the InterSteps Championship is the UK’s latest entry level junior single-seater formula designed to provide a bridge from karting to cars for drivers between the ages of 16 and 19.

Using the Mygale-built chassis formerly campaigned in Formula BMW, the series is backed by the Racing Steps Foundation and will link closely with the MSA Academy, while race weekend’s which form part of the Dunlop BARC Package, will be held around drivers’ exam commitments.

2011 saw Fortec driver Jake Dennis claim the title from team-mate Alex Walker.
