FIA Formula Two Championship

After a 25-year absence, the FIA Formula Two Championship was reborn in 2009 under the stewardship of Jonathan Palmer’s MotorSport Vision (MSV) and is intended to provide a cost-effective route to F1 for single-seater drivers across the world.

Won by Andy Soucek (2009), Dean Stoneman (2010) and Mirko Bortolotti (2011), the 2012 campaign sees an improved eight-round calendar, which includes four current and three former F1 venues. And to add further cachet, the 1.8-litre Audi-engined cars are designed by Williams Grand Prix Engineering, whose Formula One racer the eventual title winner earns a prize test in.

Watch every round LIVE or Delayed-as-Live exclusively on Motors TV in 2012.
