Brazilian teenager Felipe Nasr will switch from Double R to Carlin for next year's British F3 Championship.

The 18-year-old contested his rookie season with Woking-based Double R - known until recvently as Raikkonnen Robertson Racing - for whom he scored his maiden series win at Rockingham. Nasr collected an additional three podiums on his way to fifth in the standings.

Kevin Magnussen will contest next season's British F3 Championship for series powerhouse Carlin.

The 18-year-old Dane - son of former British F3 champ and F1 driver Jan Magnussen - has spent 2010 racing in the German F3 category where he took three wins on his way to third in the standings. He also contested the Valencia round of the F3 Euro Series where he scored a race win in the in the weekend's reverse grid event, and is currently part of McLaren's driver development scheme.

Danish racer Kevin Magnussen is set to join the British F3 field next season, 17 years after his father Jan took a dominant series title.

18-year-old Magnussen has spent 2010 racing in the German Formula Three category, taking three race wins on his way to third in the standings. He also contested the Valencia round of the F3 Euro Series, scoring a race victory in the second of the weekend's two events.

The British F3 championship has extended its title sponsorship deal with American tyre manufacturer Cooper through the 2014 campaign.

Cooper began its association with the series in 2009, taking over tyre supply from its affiliate brand Avon, which had previously been sole supplier to British F3 for close to three decades.

Newly crowned F3 Euro Series champions Signature would be open to racing in Britain next season if the continental championship was to fold.

Falling grid numbers saw just 13 cars start some of 2010’s rounds before Frederic Vasseur’s ART Grand Prix outfit, the category’s most successful squad over the last decade, pulled the plug on its involvement at the end of this season.

2007 Formula One world champion Kimi Raikkonen has ended his association with the Raikkonen-Robertson British Formula 3 outfit.

The Finn, along with co-owners Steve and David Robertson, has sold his share to team boss Anthony Hieatt, who now takes over full ownership of the 2006 series champions. They will officially run under the Double R banner, a name they have regularly gone by in recent years, and will remain in their current Woking base.

The British Formula 3 championship leader will contest next year's Goodwod Festival of Speed as the series celebrates 60 years of competition.

The driver on top of the points standings at the time of the July 1-3 event will get the opportunity to race against the clock on Goodwood's famous hillclimb course, piloting the car that they contest the F3 championship in.

Edoardo Mortara has made history by becoming the first driver to win the prestigious Macau Formula 3 race twice.

The Signature driver survived pressure from team-mates Daniel Abt and Laurens Vanthoor to add the 2010 event to his 2009 triumph in a weekend dominated by the French squad’s Volkswagen-powered Dallara machines.

Today's final qualifying for the Macau Grand Prix has been rescheduled for tomorrow morning after severe delays in Friday's practice session.

An hour-long stoppage occurred this morning to allow repairs to the barrier on the approach to Maternity Bend, which had been damaged by a crash in the earlier GT race.

Edoardo Mortara's pursuit of a historic Macau Grand Prix double has begun in the best possible style with the Italian taking provisional pole for the prestigious F3 street race.

The Signature driver upped his speed throughout the session to eventually topple Prema Powerteam's Valtteri Bottas with little over ten minutes remaining. Mortara ended the day just over a tenth quicker than the Finn, who is making a one-off appearance for Italian squad Prema.
