Brit F3: Team West-Tec return with Sistos

Juan Carlos Sistos will be behind the wheel when Motul Team West-Tec makes their return to British F3 this weekend at Silverstone.

The Mexican will be driving one of the team’s National Class Dallara F307s. Despite still being only 18-years-old, Sistos already has experience of racing in the Euroseries 3000 and European F3 Open championships, as well as back home in the Americas.

After competing at the Northamptonshire track, Sistos will also race at Snetterton on 27-29 August, although he will be ineligible to enter the National Class at the final races at Brands Hatch due to the European Open F3 rounds the week before.

The Mexican expressed his excitement ahead of the race this weekend at Sliverstone.

“I am very excited by the opportunity to drive with Team West-Tec in British Formula 3,” he said. “I have seen in the European F3 Open that they are a very good team and I am looking forward to working with them.

“I won’t know the tracks before free practice which is going to make it hard but I am sure we will be able to challenge.”
