FFord: Jaffer stays with Raysport

Zaamin Jaffer will stay with Raysport for a second season in the MSA Formula Ford Championship of Great Britain this year.

The 20-year-old Indian driver finished fourth in the scholarship class last season and is looking forward to returning to the squad to drive the team’s Ray 08 chassis in 2010.

“I’m delighted to commit to driving with Team Raysport in 2010,” said Jaffer. “Last year was a big learning curve for me, and the team, and I think we’ve learnt a lot together which will help us push for higher positions this year in the Dunlop Formula Ford Championship.”

Raysport team boss and founder Gavin Ray was also delighted to welcome Jaffer back into the fold this year.

“Zaamin has proven to be consistently quick and we are confident in his abilities to compete with the best this season in what continues to be one of the world’s most competitive junior racing formulae."
