Despite an impressive runner-up result on the Monte-Carlo Rally, Mini’s days in the WRC may be numbered.

Championship leader and the only non-Scandinavian winner of Rally Sweden, Sébastien Loeb heads a massive list of entrants for the running of the only snow round on the calendar.

Sébastien Loeb never turned a wheel wrong over the five days taking Rally Monte-Carlo to score his 68^th WRC victory. The eight-time world champion capped off a perfect week with the Power Stage win and a maximum 28 points.

Sébastien Loeb is one stage away from his 6^th Rally Monte-Carlo Rally success and the early lead in the 2012 WRC.

Petter Solberg set best time on SS16 Moulinet-La Bollene Vesubieto extend his margin to 44 seconds over Mikko Hirvonen for the bottom step of Rally Monte-Carlo.

Petter Solberg’s stage win on SS15 sees the Norwegian 30 seconds clear of Mikko Hirvonen in the battle for the bottom step of the Rally Monte-Carlo podium.

Mikko Hirvonen posted best time on ES14 Moulinet - La Bollene Vesubie (23,41 km), his third consecutive best time on Rally Monte-Carlo.

With one more, long day to go, Sébastien Loeb is looking a good bet for his sixth Monte-Carlo success.

Citroen got the better of their WRC brethren, taking four studded tyres on the icy Cimetière de Vassieux - Col de Gaudissart (24,13 km) stage, with Mikko Hirvonen setting best time.

Petter Solberg put the hammer down on St Jean en Royans -Font d'Urle (23,28 km) to move past Dani Sordo for second place.
