TAC tenth leg


The Trans-African Classic entered Mauritania on the 569 kilometre stage from Dakhla to Bou-Lanouar. 

The day following the rest day and after the final regularity section in Morocco, the remaining competitors headed towards Mauritania. They had the honour of following the legendary route of the railroad that link the Atlantic Ocean to the Zouérat iron mine to finally come to rest at the Bou-Lanouar bivouac.

TransAfricain organiser Patrick Zaniroli, has announced sweeping changes for the 2009 edition.

The competitors in the 2008  Trans-Africain Classic left Lompour headed to the Senegalese capital of  Dakar, on a stage measuring 170km, this past Saturday Novmeber  29th . The trophies were handed out to the winners in the various categories.

TAC 13th leg - 27/11 - 19:00

The 2008 Trans-African Classic set off from Idini in Mauritania to head west to Richard Toll in Senegal for a 301km long stage on Thursday November 27th.

TAC 12th leg - 26/11 - 19:00

The 2008 Trans-African Classic left Akjoujit heading towards Idini in Mauritania on a 488km stage on Wednesday, November 26.

TAC eleventh leg - 25/11 - 19:00

On Tuesday, the 2008 TAC made its way to Akjoujt to Bou-Lanouar in Mauritania on the very long 615km stage.
