By creating the TransAfricaine Classic in 2006, Patrick Zaniroli set out to give the African adventure back its original, natural pace, its rhythm, its time. And today, the first Regularity Rally for both classic and contemporary 4WD vehicles held in Africa comes closer than any other competition to the initial spirit instilled by Thierry Sabine during the very first editions of the legendary Paris-Dakar.
To combine the challenges of regularity, navigation, and clearing tough terrain along a route that’s both demanding and yet accessible, in complete harmony with the local people and the landscapes we encounter: that’s the themesong of the TransAfricaine Classic.
