The Lotus on Track Racing Drivers Club will enter an Elise Trophy car in January's Dubai 24 hour race.
The car, owned by series co-ordinator Paul Golding, has contested over 70 Lotus events of which it has failed to finish only four. It recently took part in the Lotus 1000km race at Brands Hatch and has also had former Grand Prix racer Martin Donnelly and BBC F1 anchorman Jake Humphrey behind its controls.
Lotus On-Track Racing Drivers Club has revealed the 2011 calendars for both its Elise Trophy and the all-new Lotus Cup UK.
The two series will share venues but not grids at eight events next season, with the Elise Trophy also running an additional three races across the year.
The Lotus Elise Trophy showed it was worth its place on the DTM support bill at Brands Hatch at the weekend with two action-packed races won by Steve Williams and Simon Phillips.
