2012 Lotus Elise Trophy calendar revelaed

The Lotus On-Track Racing Drivers Club have unveiled the 2012 Elise Trophy calendar.

The schedule sees trips to top British circuits Silverstone, Donington and Snetterton, as well as two visits to Brands Hatch. The series runs on the Kent circuit's Indy configuration in support of the DTM in May before hosting the Lotus Festival in mid-August.

The Elise Trophy will also travel to Castle Combe, Oulton Park and Anglesey as part of its eight-race 2012 calendar.

Meanwhile the series' technical regs remain largely unchanged, with cars running Rover engines up to 151bhp at the hubs and Toyota power plants up to 172bhp. The race format is also retained, with two 20 minute races at each meeting.
