Lotus Elise: Series organisers reveal 2011 calendars

Lotus On-Track Racing Drivers Club has revealed the 2011 calendars for both its Elise Trophy and the all-new Lotus Cup UK.

The two series will share venues but not grids at eight events next season, with the Elise Trophy also running an additional three races across the year.

Both will be in attendance for the launch event of the redeveloped Snetterton 300 circuit (March 19/20) before supporting the Formula 2 championship at Silverstone's Arena GP track in April. They also share the bill at Snetterton's Lotus Festival (June 25/26) and for the annual trip to the iconic Spa-Francochamps circuit (September 30).

The Elise Trophy's additional events will run at Oulton Park, historic Dutch venue Zandvoort and Brands Hatch's Indy Circuit. The latter will see the series support the DTM touring car championship.

The Lotus 1000KM (November 5) also returns, acting as the season-closing round of both series.
