LOORRS: Las Vegas features on revised 2010 schedule

The Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) has announced a revised calendar for the 2010 season including two new events at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

The Vegas rounds replace the scheduled visits to Primm Valley Raceway in May and November and will be held on a completely new track to be built in a joint effort between the facility and LOORRS officials.

“Everyone at Las Vegas Motor Speedway has been fantastic,” said LOORRS Competition Director Tony Vanillo.

“We are excited to be working closely together building this track in an area of the facility that is completely dedicated to our short course off road racing series.

“This is an opportunity that brings the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series into metropolitan Las Vegas.”

The only other changes on the schedule involve the two visits to Speedworld Off Road Park in Arizona. The first events in April and September will both take place a week later than planned.

26-27 Jun – Miller Motorsports Park
7-8 Aug – Lake Elsinore Motorsports Complex
25-26 Sep – Speedworld Off Road Park
6-7 Nov – Las Vegas Motor Speedway
11-12 Dec – Firebird International Raceway
