Toyota joins European Late Model Series grid



A Toyota will race in the European Late Model Series for the first time this season.

Belgian driver Wim ‘Turbo’ Verloo has purchased a Tanner Speed Shop NASCAR Super Late Model through his Roots V8 Racing Team which will be finished with a Toyota Camry body when it competes in the stock car oval racing series.

The car features a Tanner Speed Shop Chassis powered by a GM Goodwrench fastburn 5.7 litre V8 engine which produces around 450bhp and will be backed by Simpson Race Products Europe.

Verloo currently lies 11th in the ELMS standings and tenth in the CAMSO Late Model Championship.
