The FIA European Drag Racing Championship has developed into the discipline’s most important series outside of the U.S, taking place at venues across the continent.
The five classes include Top Fuel, Top Methanol Dragster, Top Methanol Funny Car, Pro Mod and Pro Stock with each category using custom-built machines with power of up to 8000bhp. In the premier Top Fuel category a driver can be catapulted from 0-100mph in 0.8 seconds and on to a face melting top speed of over 300mph by the time the car has reached the finish line!
