When the Bahrain International Circuit teamed up with Chevrolet in 2006, the Chevrolet Supercars ME Championship was formed.

Two classes of Chevrolet-powered V8 Supercars race across the Middle East including at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi and Riyadh in Saudi Arabia.
