Legends: Musselle to race CPC-backed car in 2010

TV producer, presenter and racer, Paul Musselle will race in the CPC Legends Championship this season.

Musselle, a race winner in the category, has been selected by title sponsors, CPC, to drive a car backed by the electrical and associated products distributor. The company has also announced plans to prepare a special two-seater machine for media and sponsor drives to maximise their involvement in the series.

Chris Haworth, CPC Managing Director said: "We believe in Legends, hence the level of investment into the series and cars. The addition of a race car and the media drive vehicle means we can really up our level of exposure and spread the CPC name to motorsport fans."

Musselle is a passionate Legends fan who has followed the series for many years and brings the excitement of the racing to life with his television presentation and commentary.

"What a dream job, I love this sport so to combine the TV work and driving in the series is fantastic,” he said. “I have nothing but respect for the drivers and I know just how competitive this series is, so I'm under no illusions about how competitive it's going to be. I've got to thank CPC for their faith in the series, to be involved as sponsor and set-up two cars for racing and the media shows great support."
