Team Malucelli to make GT Sprint debut


Renowned Italian sportscar squad Team Malucelli will makes its debut in the Superstars GT Sprint this weekend at the second round of the 2011 season at the Circuit Ricardo Tomo in Valencia.

The squad, which has enjoyed huge success in the Ferrari Challenge and Italian GT Championship in recent years, will field a single Ferrari 430 for San Marino-based driver Marco Galassi, who is also making his series debut.

Matteo Malucelli, son of team owner Andrea and a race winner in the GT Sprint last season, will be on the pit wall providing coaching to Galassi, who has previously raced in the Ferrari Challenge.

Watch the Superstars GT Sprint LIVE from Valencia this Sunday. Race 1 LIVE at 9:25am (BST) and Race 2 LIVE at 4:40pm (BST).
