PSC: British youngsters to get Supercup chance

British racers Michael Meadows and Euan Hankey will both get the chance to make their Porsche Supercup debuts at Silverstone later in the year.

The opportunity comes as an additional prize after the pair won a 2010 Porsche Scholarship in the winter which awarded them £50,000 towards their Porsche Carrera Cup GB budgets.

The pair will be entered in the event under the Porsche Cars GB banner and both will have two days testing in the new-spec 911 GT3 Cup which is used in the F1-supporting Supercup, but not in the British series.

“Racing at the British GP is a massive deal for me and I’m optimistic of how well we’ll do,” said Hankey.
