GT Open: Autorlando to expand into GTS class

Front running International GT Open team Autorlando Sport will expand into the GTS category this season.

The Italian outfit ran a pair of Porsche 911 GT3 RSRs in the premier Super GT class for GT2-spec machinery last season, winning the teams’ title and finishing as runners-up in the drivers’ standings for the second year in a row with Gianluca Roda and Richard Lietz.

Orlando Redolfi’s squad has now revealed that it will also run the new Porsche GT3 R in the GTS class, which caters for FIA and nationally homologated GT3 cars, with a ‘high-profile’ driver line-up to be revealed soon.

Autorlando has also confirmed that it will again run Roda and Lietz in one Super GT car this season, with the line-up for the second 911 RSR to be announced shortly.
