Deboeuf announce International GT Open entry

Austrian sportscar team Deboeuf will make its International GT Open debut this season.

The Vienna-based outfit, which won the endurance class of the German Sportscup in 2008, is to run a Porsche 911 GT3R in the championship’s GT3 class for Austrian Thomas Gruber and German Marco Seefried.

Gruber is no stranger to International GT Open fans having scored a victory last season en route to fifth in the standings. 35-year-old Seefried can also call on a wealth of GT racing experience, including a second place finish in the 2010 Nurburgring 24 Hours.

Deboeuf are sure to be well supported at their home round in Zeltweg this August following the championship’s opening round at Imola this May.

Catch live International GT Open action on Motors TV from 2pm and 11.50am on Saturday 30 April and Sunday 1 May.
