ProSpeed confirm two-car Blancpain assault

ProSpeed Competition will field two Porsche 911 GT3-Rs in this season's Blancpain Endurance Series.

The Belgian squad will campaign one of the German marque's machines in both the Pro Cup and Pro-Am categories, with Marc Goossens, Xavier Maassen and Marc Hennerici slated as their professional racers. Paul Van Splunteren and Maxime Soulet are confirmed for the Pro-Am car with a third driver set to be named soon. The team will be principally backed by I.T and communication multinational NEC, and international haulage company CPL Trans.

Team boss Rudi Penders was glowing in his praise for the series following his squad's announcement.

“It goes without saying that ProSpeed Competition will be present in the Blancpain Endurance Series because today, this competition is where the best European teams are to be found," commented Penders.
